Cheers to new beginnings!
I’m feeling the itch for a serious fall challenge.
I feel motivated to make big changes within my daily eating plan and am taking on a 30 day whole food challenge to change things up. Because honestly, I feel like a fall frump! I’ve been going crazy on carbs and slacking on my personal workouts. As much as I’ve enjoyed myself I really do not FEEL good physically. It’s time to clean it up.
I believe it starts with FOOD. I was introduced to The Whole 30 through a friend and after watching her complete several 30 day rounds I decided to read the book. And now I’m going for it! I have a ton of support and there’s no better time than NOW.
I honestly have NO IDEA how this is going to turn out. I have a history of starting and stopping things but I feel I’ve already declared my intentions to SO many people… and now here’s this blog.
It’s kind of a done deal, right?
I’m going to take it one day at a time and we’ll see how it goes!
I’ve read a few articles and watched youtube videos about not sharing your goal with others because you’ll be less motivated to actually follow through. I hope that’s not true as I find it MORE motivating when I share my intentions with friends. Seven layer dip of accountability for one please!
I need rules to keep myself in check.
Here are my intentions…
- Take pictures of ALL food. Post daily for 30 days.
- Blog at least 1 weekly update.
- Go Live on Facebook with updates weekly.
- 30 days of whole foods
- Complete Core de Force
I will modify the Whole 30 plan to fit my vegan lifestyle. I acknowledge the fact that I am not actually doing “The Whole 30” as that plan requires the consumption of animal proteins. I am following all other guidelines.
Let’s see where this goes!
