Wiki defines tapping therapy as an “Emotional Freedom Technique.” (EFT) It is a form of counseling intervention that draws on various theories of alternative medicine including acupuncture, neuro-linguistic programming, energy medicine, and Thought Field Therapy (TFT).
I was introduced to this practice through a great friend and EFT practitioner Marion Solis. She had explained the many benefits and success stories of her clients to me but it was not until a few of my personal friends worked with her that I decided to schedule a session of my own. I was still very skeptical!
How would tapping my fingers on my head help me? I trusted Marion but was not sure what I was getting myself into. I know I have some emotional and financial blocks happening in my life so I went into our session with an open mind and open heart hoping to make some progress. Within minutes of starting our session I knew she was on to something. By the end of our time together I had booked four more sessions!
Marion has a true gift and explained everything in great detail. Our tapping session was done over the phone, really easy to follow, and simple to understand. If you feel like you’re holding on to any emotional stress, have blocks from past trauma, or simply need a little guidance in your life I would HIGHLY recommend a tapping session!
