Dance Workout: Upgrade U

By | Dance Fitness Workouts | No Comments

There is definitely a lot of Beyonce, Britney, and Ciara on my playlist. Bring on the dancing divas! This Beyonce track goes WAY back. It’s one of my all-time favorites to dance to for sure.

I can do for you, what Martin did for the people
Ran by the men, but the women keep the tempo
It’s very seldom, that you’re blessed to find your equal
Still played my part and let you take the lead role, believe me
I’ll follow, this could be easy
I’ll be the help, whenever you need me (you need me)
I see your hustle with my hustle, I can keep you
Focused on your focus, I can feed you

Come take a live class!

Let me know! What song do you want to see next? Leave a comment and don’t forget to hit like for more uploads. I’ll continue to film and share our dances so long as you’re diggin it. Message me your song suggestions!

Fly Girl Aerial Parties

By | Fitness & Health | No Comments

Host your own fly girl aerial party!

I am having so much fun hosting parties, workshops, and other aerial events! I understand how challenging it can be to think of something different to do with that special event you have coming up. Typically going out to dinner is the go-to option when it comes to planning a special birthday, bachelorette, or girls night out.

I have a better idea!

Get your crew together and let’s fly! We will climb, swing, and flip together when you book your aerial party with me! I have a few different options available when it comes to specialty events.

Not sure if aerial is for you?  Here’s a little more information about this awesome format to help you get your booty off the couch and into the air!

Q: What IS aerial?

A:  A series of poses and postures where we are sitting/laying/wrapped up in a silk hammock that is suspended from the ceiling.

Q: Wait a minute, I’m in the AIR?! I don’t want to fall from the ceiling!

A:  Your body won’t be any further than 3 feet from the floor at any time.  So basically, you’re actually CLOSER to the ground then you would be if you sat on your dining room table.

Q: What’s the weight limit?

1,000 pounds – So you’re good to go! If you can perform 5 full sit-ups then you are ready for aerial classes.

Q: Is there anyone who shouldn’t do aerial?

A: While I believe the benefits can help anyone, it’s probably not the best idea to swing upside down if you have a history of experiencing vertigo; And as always, if you are pregnant you should discuss it with your doctor before coming to class.

Q: What ages are allowed in class?

Ages 9 and up. Please click here for more info on booking your private class or event.

Dance Workout: Lemon

By | Dance Fitness Workouts | No Comments

I’m a huge Pharrell Williams fan and really like Rihanna’s music too. Both produce many many tracks that are all a lot of fun to dance to! When I first heard Lemon I was like ohhhhhhh yessss. This choreography repeats several times and is hella fun once you get it down. Shoutout to Bernadette Barber for the sweet moves.

Come take a live class!

By | Friday Favorites | No Comments

Welcome to the final installment of my 2017 Friday Favorites!

I’ve compiled a list of my top ten favorites of all the favorites from this past year. I’ll be switching up the blog format as we move into 2018. If you want the newest list of favorite five items delivered to your inbox be sure to subscribe to this list. I’ll pick one thing from the list each week and expand on it through a blog post instead of rehashing the entire list.

I’ve really enjoyed sharing all of the silly, useful, and fun things that I’m passionate about throughout this year. Thank you for checking it out!

Best of 2017

Passion Planner

A new year brings new goals and new intentions. I am a huge fan of the Passion Planner to help keep me organized year round! If you’re a pen to paper type of person THIS is the planner for you!

I made big moves and big shifts throughout the past year. Wunderlist helped me keep my to-do’s in order all along the way. My top app of 2017!

5 Second Rule

My favorite book of 2017 was hands down The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins. This one was a game changer for me.

Squatty Potty

I think I shared the Squatty Potty more than any other product in 2017. It’s also my most favorite gift to give! They really need an affiliate program already.

Instant Pot

I received my Instant Pot for Christmas 2016 and was scared to use it until March 2017. What the hell was I scared of! This thing changed dinner time for my family. It is THE best thing ever! Next to the Squatty Potty of course. ha!

Taco Truck

When you LOVE tacos you must get yourself the taco truck. Best gift of the year. You know who you are – THANK YOU for this!!!

Coconut Chia Pudding

Curious as to what the recipe of the year is? Coconut chia pudding of course!

Plant Based Resources

More and more people are trying to eat more plants. I get you! This is my most shared link of 2017.

Love Handle

We’re always walking around with our phones in our hand. I got asked about my Love Handle A LOT this year! I LOVE this thing.

The Dodo

My most favorite account to follow in 2017? The Dodo on Instagram ALWAYS brightens my day. Love for the Earth, love for the animals, love for one another!
